Across the country, generous community members are offering lawn equipment to help kids take part in the 50 Yard Challenge. If your child has signed up for the challenge but does not yet have equipment, you may be able to connect with someone in your area who is willing to loan or donate tools to help them get started.
How This Page Works
Below you will see listings from individuals who have equipment available for kids participating in the 50 Yard Challenge. These may include lawn mowers, weed eaters, leaf blowers, rakes, or other yard tools.
If you see someone located in your area who has equipment available, you can reach out to us and we will help connect you with that person so you can arrange pickup or discuss borrowing the equipment.
In the near future, this page will also include a request form that will allow parents to send a message directly to the equipment owner through our system.
Why This Matters
Some kids want to take part in the 50 Yard Challenge, but they may not yet have access to lawn equipment. This page helps connect families with generous people in their community who are willing to help.
One donated mower can help a child mow 50 free lawns for elderly neighbors, veterans, single parents, and others in need.
